Dear people of God, honored brothers, sisters and friends,
We greet you with joy, in the name of our Savior Jesus Christ!
It is a great honor for me, personally, for the pastors and the members of Bethany Church, and for the Pentecostal churches of the Chicago metropolis to invite you to the 48th Convention of the Romanian Pentecostal Churches in USA and Canada, taking place on September 2-5, 2016. After 25 years, Bethany Church has been given once again the privilege to host and organize in Chicago this great annual spiritual event.
The title of this year`s Convention is “The Mission of the Church” and our purpose is to remind the Christians of our generation that our Savior was incarnated into our world in order to build His Church. For this Church He will return at the end of the time. The mission of the Church is to preach the Gospel for the conversion of the sinners, to teach and lead those already converted towards the likeness of the Lord Jesus Christ, to serve by manifesting the Holy Spirit`s gifts, and to wait, in sanctification, for the imminent return of our King Jesus Christ.
